Every release, documented.

What is new in Relai. We ship improvements to the capture SDK, replay engine, and CI integrations on a rolling basis.

v0.5.0

GitLab CI support and 90-day retention for Scale plans

  • Native GitLab CI integration: replay tests run automatically on merge requests, blocking merge until the capture passes.
  • Scale plan retention extended from 30 to 90 days. Existing Scale accounts automatically inherit the longer window.
  • Capture bundles now include the exact model version string, enabling regression tracking across LLM version bumps.
  • Dashboard redesigned: failure list now sortable by agent, severity, and capture date with persistent filter state.
v0.4.2

Capture SDK v2: async tool call support

  • Capture SDK rewritten to handle async tool calls correctly. Previously, tool calls made in parallel could produce out-of-order snapshots in the replay bundle.
  • Python SDK now supports context manager syntax: async with relai.capture() as ctx:
  • Fixed: replay bundles created before v0.4.0 failed to load in the new replay engine. Migration script added to relai bundle migrate.
v0.4.0

Diff-first fix proposals and GitHub PR integration

  • Fix proposals now expressed as structured diffs against your actual codebase, not freeform suggestions. Diffs are surfaced in the Relai dashboard and opened directly as GitHub pull requests.
  • Every pull request opened by Relai includes the replay result as a status check. The PR cannot merge while the replay FAIL status is active.
  • GitHub App installation flow simplified: OAuth and webhooks configured in under two minutes.
v0.3.1

Replay engine stability and Slack notifications

  • Fixed: replay engine could hang indefinitely when a captured tool call returned a large binary payload. Payloads above 1 MB are now truncated to a representative hash in the bundle.
  • Slack notifications added. Configure a webhook URL per team to receive failure capture events and fix proposal readiness alerts.
  • Replay engine memory usage reduced by 40% through lazy bundle deserialization.
v0.3.0

Public beta: replay environments available to all teams

  • Relai opens to public beta. Replay environments available to all registered teams, replacing the invite-only private alpha.
  • Capture SDK released as an open-source Python package under the Apache 2.0 license. Install with pip install relai-sdk.
  • Developer plan introduced: free tier with 50 replay runs per month and 7-day retention.
  • Web dashboard released with failure timeline, replay viewer, and fix proposal review workflow.
